If you have difficulty in using a mouse or similar devices, you can use keyboard shortcuts. Vitaline follows the Government access key system and information on how to use each of the keyboard shortcuts available is below. They enable you to navigate using only the keyboard.

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4, press 'alt' and the relevant shortcut key (eg 1 for the home page) at the same time.

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, press 'alt' and the relevant shortcut key and then press the enter key.
If you are using Netscape 6, click anywhere on the page, then press 'alt' and the relevant shortcut key at the same time.

Browser Accessibility Features - Increasing the font size

PC

Internet Explorer 6 and 5 choose View from your browser menu then Text Size and choose from Smallest to Largest.

Internet Explorer 4 choose View from your browser menu then Fonts and choose from Smallest to Largest.

Netscape 6 choose View from your browser menu then Text Size and choose Smaller or Larger or a percentage.

Netscape 4.7 choose View from your browser menu then Increase Font

Netscape 4.6 or 4.5 choose Edit from your browser menu then Preferences, then choose Fonts and change the setting accordingly.

MAC

Internet Explorer 5 choose Edit from your browser menu then Preferences then Web Browser then Language/Fonts and choose the size you want.

Internet Explorer 4.5 choose Edit from your browser menu then Preferences then Web Browser then Browser Display and choose from Smallest to Largest.

Netscape 4.75 - choose Edit from your browser menu then Preferences then Appearances then Fonts and change the font size.

Changing the Font Colour

PC

Internet Explorer 6 or 5 choose Tool from your browser menu then Internet Options then General then Fonts and choose a different font (eg Times New Roman), as the web page font. To make sure that other people's web pages display in your chosen font, you then need to click the Accessibility button and check the 'Ignore font styles specified on Web pages' box.

Internet Explorer 4 choose View from your browser menu then Internet Options then General then Fonts then Proportional Font and choose a different font (eg Times New Roman), as the web page font. To make sure that other people's web pages display in your chosen font, you then need to click the Accessibility button and check the 'Ignore font styles specified on Web pages' box.

Netscape browsers choose Edit from your browser menu then Preferences then Appearance then Fonts and choose Arial as the Variable Width Font, then check the 'Use my default fonts, overriding document-specified fonts' box to ensure that other people's pages will display in the font you have chosen.

MAC

Internet Explorer 5 choose Edit from your browser menu then Preferences then Web Browser then Web Content and choose the colour you want for background, text and hyperlinks.

Internet Explorer 4.5 choose Edit from your browser menu then Preferences then Web Browser then Browser Display and choose the colour you want for background, text and hyperlinks.

Netscape 4.75 choose Edit from your browser menu then Preferences then Appearances then Fonts and choose the colours you want.
